Dr. David Gutierrez is a native of Northwest Oklahoma. He was raised in Woodward, Oklahoma and a graduate of Woodward High School. He then graduated with a Bachelor’s degree in Biology with a minor in Chemistry from Northwestern Oklahoma State University in Alva, Oklahoma. During university,  Dr. David pursued lab research as a Fleming scholar at the Oklahoma Medical Research Foundation and was awarded the Outstanding senior award.

Dr. David continued his education at the University of Oklahoma College of Dentistry where he earned his Doctorate of Dental Surgery. He is passionate about bettering the health of his community by volunteering for Oklahoma Mission of Mercy, a free dental clinic dedicated to helping the people of Oklahoma.  He was heavily involved in outreach dentistry while in dental school for Veteran’s Day, Kid’s Day, Open Wide clinic and was a team leader for Crossings Community Clinic in Oklahoma City.

Dr. David was awarded the Edwin L. Wilson Jr. Clinic Operations Award of Excellence. This honor was awarded to one senior student who exemplifies compassion, dedication and enthusiasm in the field of dentistry.

Dr. David is ​​a dedicated member of professional dental organizations, including the American Dental Association, American Academy of General Dentistry, and the Oklahoma Dental Association.

During his time at Northwestern, he met his now wife, Erin. They both enjoy staying active, watching movies, fishing together, and playing fetch with their dog, Mia.

Dr. David is committed to upholding dental excellence while providing compassionate care to individuals and families in Enid and the surrounding area. His mission as a dentist is to use his gifts, skills, and dental expertise for the benefit of his patients.
